What is the best frequency for posting on Facebook?
Facebook may be an ageing social network, but it is also the one that has themost powerful algorithm and therefore the most accurate. Many companies are returning to Facebook for this reason.
Below, we give trends for the frequency of posting on Facebook. This does not mean that it is automatically applicable to your company or sector. With your Facebook page, you can use Facebook Analytics and analyse your visibility and engagement for each publication according to the day and time of publication to know when to publish.
In order to know how often you should post on Facebook, it is important to know the average life span of your posts. Posts on Facebook have a approximate visibility time of 14 hours.
In this calculation, it should be taken into account that the type of publication has an impact on the duration of visibility and that they do not all have the same reach time. For example, a video can be seen for 20 hours, whereas a text publication has a lower lifetime of about 11 hours.
For Facebook, we recommend that you publish 2-3 times a week and between 1 and 2 times a day. It is important to specify that all studies show that publishing twice a day can be interesting as long as your page accumulates more than 10,000 fans, otherwise your page risks accumulating a drop of 50% in engagement.
We also advise you to share content at the following times: before lunch between 11am and 12pm or in the afternoon between 3pm and 5pm. These are the times when your publications will have the best reach and the performance of your publications will be the most interesting.
The 4 days with the highest traffic on Facebook are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However, you should also take into account your target group and your market: it is better to publish on working days (weekdays) rather than at weekends when you are in a BtoB sector and therefore address companies. When we are in a BtoC sector, weekends are strongly recommended to reach your target.
Don't forget that you can plan your posts in advance on your Facebook page with the Meta Business Suite which can save you a lot of time, help you keep your calendar and improve the quality of the content published.
What is the best posting frequency on Instagram?
As with SEO or other social networks, on instagram the most important thing is theegularity before frequency of publication. To gain visibility, you need to know how often to publish over the long term.
Although there are many different opinions about how often you should post on Instagram, it is recommended that you post 4-5 times a week regardless of the type of content; whether it is photos or videos (classic post, IGTV, real, etc.).
When it comes to posting on Instagram, we can see a certain difference between weekends and weekdays. From Monday to Friday, it is more the transport timetables which work best: between 8am and 9am, and between 5pm and 6pm. At the weekend, the use of Instagram is completely different and the time range expands significantly with a difference between the two weekend days. On both weekend days, you can post between 3pm and 7pm. On Sunday night, the hours are later and are between 10pm and 11pm, at bedtime before the week resumes.
The stories on the other hand do not respect the same frequency. This type of content on Instagram (and Facebook for that matter) must be published daily and preferably on working days for the BtoB sector, although exceptions are quite possible. Think of bringing original content that goes beyond your classic publications without spamming your followers.
It is interesting to publish your stories at different times of the day so that they are highlighted each time and you can increase your reach and reach your target audience. For example, if you publish two stories a day, we recommend that you publish one story in the morning and one in the afternoon.
There are three important elements:
- Do different tests by publishing your content at different times and on different days and then see what works best in terms of reach.
- Use a business account on Instagram to analyse your stats and know exactly when it's best to post to your account.
- Instagram is increasingly working with stories rather than posts, so be sure to be active in this regard.

LinkedIn is the professional social network par excellence where you can post content that engages you personally via your private LinkedIn profile or post content on LinkedIn that is only about the company, its products, services, etc. via your company page.

The days of publication vary but we can conclude that it is more interesting to publish content on LinkedIn rather at the end of the week Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. With the mobile application, many people log in and few post, giving you more opportunities to be visible.
This should be analysed in relation to your business and your community.
We recommend that you publish on LinkedIn and test The next one to two months to see the impact of publishing at the weekend and to define the best times to publish: 2 publications during the week and one publication at the weekend.
The ideal time to publish on LinkedIn is when professionals and therefore your target audience are connected: before work or after workWe recommend publishing early in the morning, when people are on their way to work and therefore on the road: between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. We advise you to publish early in the morning, when people are on their way to work and therefore in transport: between 7 and 9 o'clock. This is because if your publication goes viral, it will also be seen by those who log on at midday and at the end of the day.
On average, a publication remains visible for about 12 hours, depending of course on the virality of your publication. This evolves according to the number of reactions (likes and comments) which can significantly increase the life of your publication.
Beware, the LinkedIn algorithm can be very strict and it is important to take this into account when sharing on this social network. For example, LinkedIn doesn't like links that leave its social network. It doesn't like it if you tag someone who doesn't interact with the same post or if you post too much.

The relevance of your content is the key to success. There are no clear rules in terms of posting frequency, the key is to make content that interests your target audience.
In general, publish at least one new video per week seems to be a good frequency even if it is not always easy to keep it up in the long run. The most important thing is to do it at your own pace but to do it regularly.
Here are some tips to consider to grow your YouTube channel faster:
- Create a YouTube-specific publishing schedule with content that interests your target audience
- Respect the publication frequency of your editorial calendar

What is the best pin frequency on Pinterest?
The recommended minimum is 3 pins per day, with a maximum of 30 pins per dayBeyond 30 pines, it does not add anything.
It is important to point out that after pushing users to republish content on Pinterest, the algorithm has clearly changed. As of 2019, Pinterest gives the preference for new pins. This means publishing new (preferably original) content as the reach is longer than for republished pins.
Obviously, creating new pins can be time consuming, so it's up to you to see how many to post depending on how much time you want to spend on Pinterest. Think about them publish at regular intervals and dilute your posts over time rather than posting everything at once on Pinterest.
What is the best frequency of tweets on Twitter?
With Twitter, no limit of tweets ! It is the only network where there is no limit and where publishing several times a day and many times is not a problem, quite the opposite.
As the lifespan of a tweet is very low, it is even recommended to publish several times a day. Generally, and again according to studies, publishing between 3 and 30 tweets per day seems to be a good average. If you want to have a good visibility, you must publish regularly and throughout the day.
B2B companies have a low reach and few interactions on Saturdays and Sundays, so consider avoiding these days if you are concerned with this sector.
It is between 12 noon and 1 p.m. that Twitter is experiencing a peak in traffic and that it is therefore better to tweet important information.
Do not hesitate to retweet your own tweets on different days and at different times. Twitter's algorithm accepts retweets up to 5 times of your own tweet. Choose a tweet that has generated a lot of engagement and in which there is no mention.
